Resources to help you read and understand the draft Environmental Impact Statement

The Gowrie to Helidon project draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is nearly 11,000 pages in total. To help you navigate the draft EIS and to more easily find the information you're interested in, the G2H project team has prepared a number of resources.

G2H EIS Summary of Findings front page

The draft EIS summary of findings provides a high-level overview of each chapter of the draft EIS. It summarises the major findings of the technical studies and shows where in the EIS more detailed information can be found.

The draft EIS summary of findings will be available on our website from Monday 9 August. You will be able to pick up a printed copy from our Gatton or Toowoomba office. Copies will also be available at the information sessions and Community Consultative Committee meetings on 21 August at Gowrie Junction and 24 August at Murphys Creek.

The G2H project EIS newsletter provides a quick snapshot of the project, where you can view physical and electronic copies of the draft EIS, CCC meetings and the information sessions.

As part of the draft EIS, our team has also created visualisation images of major structures and locations on the project. These images are for illustration purposes only, to show what Inland Rail will look like in your area.

The visualisations are available on the G2H project website as three-dimensional videos and image sliders. You can use the slider to reveal the existing and after visualisation images.

We have also printed large posters of the existing-after visualisation images and they will be available for you to view at the information sessions and the CCC meetings.

If you wish to speak to us, please drop in to our Toowoomba office at 143-145 Margaret Street, Toowoomba, or our Gatton office at Suite 5-6, 47 North Street, Gatton. You can also email us inlandrailqld@artc.com.au or call 1800 732 761.
