Following the submissions, the teams have worked with the Coordinator-General to address comments and feedback and finalise their respective EISs in preparation for public exhibition.
The Calvert to Kagaru EIS will be released on Saturday 19 December. The Helidon to Calvert and Gowrie to Helidon EISs will be released in 2021.
As the impacts of COVID-19 evolved, we followed health authority advice and adapted our communications to ensure the safety of our people and communities along the alignment.
While face-to-face engagements were postponed, we continued to actively engage with you via our website, social media, email and telephone.
We also progressed geotechnical investigations to gain a better understanding of ground conditions, inform our project reference designs and minimise impacts on our communities.
Thank you to all landhowners who worked with us to complete these investigations. You contributions are helping to deliver Inland Rail to its fullest potential.
As 2020 draws to a close, the Gowrie to Kagaru project team wishes you a safe and restful holiday season. We’ll be taking a break from 24 December 2020 to 4 January 2021, and look forward to continuing our conversations next year.
