Border to Gowrie project fly-through – February 2020
Border to Gowrie project fly-through – February 2020
The Border to Gowrie (B2G) section is one of 13 projects that complete Inland Rail. It comprises approximately 145km of new dual gauge track and 71.2km of upgraded track from the NSW/Qld border, near Yelarbon, to Gowrie Junction, north west of Toowoomba in Queensland. This fly-through provides a visualisation of the B2G reference design including the proposed rail alignment, proposed Condamine floodplain crossing solution, public road rail crossings, bridge structures, cuttings and embankments. The reference design may change as a result of further investigations, government approvals, or during the detailed design phase. This visualisation does not include details such as scour protection, culverts outside of the Condamine floodplain, fencing, maintenance access roads or level crossing treatments. Buildings directly impacted by the reference design are not shown in this video. We acknowledge properties are impacted by the project reference design and landowners can still provide feedback by visiting our interactive map.
