Albury Show goers out in force despite the weather

Our Albury to Parkes and Victorian Stakeholder Engagement teams were delighted to be out and about to support the NSW Riverina’s final 2022 field day, the Albury Show.

Locals enjoying the ARTC Inland stand at the Albury Show

After a two-year hiatus due to Covid and pouring rain leading up to the event, our team were welcomed by show-goers and it was wonderful to see so many people keen to learn more about Inland Rail.

Over the three-day event, almost 600 visitors stopped by the Inland Rail stand to get the latest updates on project approvals in southern NSW and to discuss issues like flooding management, potential noise and operational impacts on local communities and how these might be mitigated.

The 2022 Field Day/Show Season was highly worthwhile for Inland Rail with more than 3,000 direct engagements recorded.

We’d like to thank everyone who stopped by our stand at each show and we’re looking forward to catching up with our communities during the 2023 field day/ show season.

Benalla Signal Hut Revisit Inspection Report

ARTC commissioned an independent follow-up inspection report on the Benalla Signal Hut to reassess its structural condition and provide recommendations on make safe actions. This report follows a structural engineering assessment of the hut to understand the building’s condition (dated September 2023).
