Croppa-Moree Road Level Crossing upgrade
From 1 April 2022, our contractor Trans4m Rail will continue level crossing and drainage upgrade works on Croppa-Moree Road (approximately 3km south west of Croppa Creek town centre).
Work being done
Works will include signal installation, pavement and sealing of the level crossing.
Motorists are urged to follow changing traffic conditions on site, including speed zone reductions and directional traffic signage.
What can I expect
- Trucks and other vehicles entering and exiting the construction site
- Construction machinery and equipment operating on site
- Delivery of materials and equipment
- Some of these works will be noisy and mitigation measures will be in place
- Some minor traffic delays are expected during work hours.
Machinery used
- Trucks,
- cranes,
- graders,
- excavators,
- loaders,
- rollers and
- water/vacuum excavation trucks
will be used within the construction impact zone.
How we’re managing impacts
- Traffic control will be in place, where required
- Water carts will be on site to wet down areas to assist in managing dust.
