The University of Newcastle is hosting a special Science Engineering Challenge (SEC) event at Parliament House. The event is a special activity of the SEC and comprises of a Challenge event (year 9-10) on day one and Discovery event (year 5-6) on day two.

The SEC is a nationwide STEM outreach program presented by the University of Newcastle in partnership with communities, Rotary clubs, universities and sponsors.
