General site and field investigations are ongoing

Geotechnical investigations in the Narromine, Gilgandra and Mt Tenandra areas have recently been completed. Additional geotechnical work has now begun in the Baradine and Pilliga sections of the alignment. Data gathered from these investigations will help refine our detailed designs for the project and minimise cost and construction impacts.

In the coming weeks, our teams will look to complete further survey work, including LiDAR surveying and ecology investigations, this work will occur in road reserves, crown land and private property.

Where possible, we will carry out activities on crown land or road reserves. Where we may need to access private property, we will seek to obtain the prior consent of landowners. We thank all landowners for their continued patience and assistance.
