Financial education tools making a difference for Indigenous communities

My Money Dream is a financial literacy program offered to Indigenous employees on the Narrabri to North Star Phase 1 project by Inland Rail’s Skills Academy in conjunction with First Nations Foundation. The program is designed to help participants achieve their financial goals by providing education around managing money, budgeting, banking, superannuation and insurance.

Celebrating NAIDOC week with our Indigenous communities

Inland Rail will be built and operated on the traditional lands of many Indigenous nations, and we value our relationships with the Indigenous communities along the alignment. This month, we joined Boggabilla Central School and Toomelah Public School to celebrate NAIDOC week in honour of the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

When Indigenous business Waddi Springs started supplying bottled natural spring water to our Parkes to Narromine project, it sparked a ‘can do’ spirit among employees to enrich the lives of the Wiradjuri Nation, the largest Indigenous community in NSW.
