Inland Rail boosts mobile phone coverage in Northern NSW

‘Can you hear me?’. It’s a familiar call amongst communities along the Narrabri to North Star section of the Inland Rail alignment, but one that will soon be met with a resounding ‘Yes I can!’ as mobile coverage in the area is improved.

Narrabri to North Star Phase 2 – Environmental Impact Statement progress update

We are continuing to finalise the documents for the project’s Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in consultation with the Department of Planning and Environment (DPE). The EIS describes the project, considers potential environmental, social and economic impacts, and identifies measures to minimise and avoid these impacts.

What is a turnout? … X marks the spot!

A turnout is a track configuration that enables trains to move from one track to another, such as at crossing loops. The trains ‘turn out’ from one rail line to another. Our contractor, Trans4m Rail will install 25 turnouts across 10 different locations for the Narrabri to North Star Phase 1 project.
