Work on Inland Rail is well underway.

Building one of the world’s most significant infrastructure projects – a 1,700km fast freight rail track connecting Melbourne to Brisbane in less than 24 hours – is a massive undertaking. During the peak of construction, Inland Rail will provide more than 21,500 direct and indirect jobs.
