Local community groups welcome grant funding

Four Gowrie to Kagaru community groups recently benefited from grant funding as part of our Sponsorships and Donations program.

Toowoomba Lapidary Club received funds to help purchase a defibrilator for its premises.

Toowoomba PCYC received support to train volunteers who will assist at risk local youth obtain driving licences.

Grandchester State School has received support to purchase much needed kitchen utensils for an outdoor cooking facility.

Lockyer Valley Netball Association received a grant funding contribution toward the purchase of grandstand seating.

While we are still accepting applications for the next round, with government social distancing measures expected to remain in place for the foreseeable future, we will only fund events and activities that comply with state restrictions.

All current round applications for events involving mass gatherings will be held over until the next round of applications, which close Friday 31 July.
