Locals ‘work ready’ thanks to local member support

In partnership with Moree TAFE, we are preparing locals to be ‘work ready’, offering a five-day course studying a Statement of Attainment in Civil Construction and Workplace Safety. Graduates can then possibly gain employment with Trans4m Rail.

The program was announced by Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall in early March and is part of our ongoing strategy to help local and regional training providers upskill community members to gain work on Inland Rail. 

The five-day program involved participants undertaking Trans4m Rail’s onboarding program, which includes interviews with project hiring managers and assistance with developing the skills required to work in entry-level infrastructure roles.
