Tell us a bit about your professional background.

My background is in traffic and transport engineering. I started in rail on Sydney’s North West Rail Link project and then subsequently a light rail project in my home country, Indonesia.

Why did you decide to join Inland Rail?

I wanted to work on a once-in-a-lifetime nation-building project. I have been very fortunate to be involved in so many parts of Inland Rail since joining.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of working on this project?

I enjoy being able to resolve issues and developing project scope. Completing the Wyndham Avenue road bridge design review was rewarding.

What can the community expect to see in coming months?

Our EIS and REF exhibitions will be happening early next year for all three Inland Rail southern NSW projects.

What do you like doing in your time off?

I used to do lots of rock climbing, but now I spend my time off ferrying my girls around sports or classes. But, on Sunday mornings I still attend a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) class.
