Narromine to Narrabri Environmental Impact Statement – Thanks for having your say

The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Narromine to Narrabri project is now closed for submissions following the Tuesday 8 December 2020 to Sunday 7 February 2021 public display period. We are now heading into the next phase of the project’s approval process.

All submissions, which will be provided to ARTC to review and respond to, are now published online. The state government will then review the EIS, all submissions, and ARTC’s Response to Submissions Report. The NSW Minister for Planning and Public Spaces will decide whether the project is approved for construction.

Please refer to our Assessment Process for NSW Major Projects fact sheet for more information about the assessment process.

To view the EIS, visit the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) website.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued involvement and engagement with the EIS process. Delivering a project of this scale and complexity is difficult, and we appreciate your ongoing patience.
