National Reconciliation Week 2022

For National Reconciliation Week, our teams from Gatton, Goondiwindi and Toowoomba joined First Nations people, Yvonne O'Neill from University Southern Queensland and Joel Thompson from Thee Group, for a Q&A panel on this year’s theme "Be Brave, Make a Change" for reconciliation.

National Reconciliation Week - Toowoomba Lunch Guest Panel Presentation and Q&A

Facilitated by Inland Rail Indigenous Participation Advisor Ash Williams, Yvonne and Joel spoke about reconciliation, culture, and shared their thoughts on the theme “Be Brave, Make a Change”.

National Reconciliation Week, held from 27 May to 3 June every year, is an important time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories and take steps toward reconciliation. Yvonne highlighted the importance of taking steps toward reconciliation, not just during National Reconciliation Week, but every day.

Thank you to Yvonne and Joel for their guidance, and for sharing their thoughts and experience.
