The old fence was well and truly past its use-by date.

Acland and the New Hope Group donated their manpower and machinery to remove the old fence and install the materials funded by Inland Rail.

“We are absolutely thrilled and relieved that the RDA Centre will now be secure from the large amount of commuter traffic on Goombungee Road,” said Elizabeth Davis from the RDA.

The sturdy new fence ensures the horses at the RDA Centre also have a safe and secure paddock to graze.

The next round of applications is currently open and will close on 31 January 2021.

Last round, we received 67 applications from across the Inland Rail alignment with 20 projects selected to receive funding, including three from the Gowrie to Kagaru area.
