These reports can be found by visiting DPE’s major projects website.

The Response to Submissions Report details issues raised by the community and key stakeholders during the submissions phase, and describes the actions taken by the project team to address these issues.

The Preferred Infrastructure Report assesses the impact of the project under various hydrology scenarios and outlines proposed updates to the Macintyre River floodplain model.

The Biodiversity Development Assessment Report presents flora and fauna survey data, potential impacts associated with the project and offsets required.

DPE will now complete its assessment of the merits of the project in accordance with government legislation, policies, and guidelines, and prepare an Assessment Report.

Please visit DPE’s website for more information on the process being followed to assess the project.

Recent engagement

The team recently met with DPE, the federal Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications, Transport for New South Wales and local councils to present proposed updates to the Macintyre River floodplain model and feedback from impacted stakeholders engaged during the development of the Preferred Infrastructure Report.
