Calvert to Kagaru flythrough NCalvert to Kagaru flythrough November 2018
The Calvert to Kagaru (C2K) section is one of 13 projects that complete Inland Rail. This section of Inland Rail is in Queensland and involves the design and construction of approximately 53km of new dual gauge track. The connection will provide convenient access for freight to major proposed industrial developments at Ebenezer in the City of Ipswich, and at Bromelton near Beaudesert in the Scenic Rim Region.

The Gowrie to Helidon (G2H) section is one of 13 projects that complete Inland Rail. This project is in Queensland and comprises 26km of new dual gauge track between Gowrie (north-west of Toowoomba) and Helidon (east of Toowoomba). It crosses the two Local Government Areas of Toowoomba and Lockyer Valley. G2H will include a new 6.38km tunnel to create an efficient route through the steep terrain of the Toowoomba Range.

The Helidon to Calvert (H2C) section is one of 13 projects that complete Inland Rail. This project is in Queensland and comprises a new dual gauge rail line connecting Helidon (east of Toowoomba) with Calvert (near Ipswich), via Placid Hills, Gatton, Forest Hill, Laidley and Grandchester. It crosses the two Local Government Areas of Lockyer Valley and Ipswich City. This 47km section will include a new 1.1km tunnel to create an efficient route through the steep terrain of the Little Liverpool Range.
