Managing Coronavirus impacts

As the impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to evolve, we are following advice from public health authorities to ensure the safety of our people and the communities in which we live and work.

As a precautionary measure, we are postponing (until further notice) some community meetings, including upcoming Community Consultative Committee meetings, where we feel it’s appropriate.

We continue to actively engage with our communities and stakeholders, via our website, social media, email and telephone. We are also available to meet in person with landowners and other stakeholders if they feel comfortable doing so.

In the event stakeholders are not comfortable to meet with us in person, as always, our project team can be contacted on 1800 732 761 and via email at:

  • inlandrailvic@artc.com.au (Victoria)
  • inlandrailnsw@artc.com.au (New South Wales)
  • inlandrailqld@artc.com.au (Queensland).

We will continue to update community stakeholders on when full community engagement activities will return to normal, subject to the latest public health information. Where possible, our project teams will also continue to support local businesses at this time.

Working with the community

We are committed to working closely with landholders and local communities. Events give us another opportunity to keep you informed about the Inland Rail projects and ensure your views are heard and addressed by us as we progress projects through the formal planning processes.

We will keep you updated about events or information sessions we are organising or community events we will be participating in.
