Illabo to Stockinbingal Environmental Impact Statement to go on public exhibition

The public exhibition period has been extended from the normal 4 weeks to 6 weeks to provide the community with additional time to consider and comment on the EIS.

In preparing the I2S EIS, ARTC Inland Rail has undertaken extensive consultation, resulting in multiple changes to the reference design, and will continue to work directly with landholders around property acquisition.

Community members and key stakeholders are invited to provide feedback and make formal submissions to the NSW DPE during the exhibition period. Submissions must be lodged on or before 26th October 2022

At the close of the exhibition process public submissions will be considered by the NSW DPE when assessing the project.

Community drop-in sessions will be held from 4pm to 6pm on the Monday 19th, Tuesday 20th, and Wednesday 21st September, where attendees can collect a Summary of

Findings, a USB with the EIS, and receive assistance navigating the EIS and making their submission.

A written report responding to any issues that are raised during the public exhibition will be made publicly available for stakeholders and the community to view and will be submitted to DPE and the Minister for Planning for consideration.
