Rail is a once-in-a-generation project that will complete the backbone of
Australia’s freight rail network. It will enhance supply chains by providing a
transit time of 24 hours or less for freight trains between Melbourne and
Brisbane. Inland Rail
will connect regional Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland to markets more
efficiently, drive substantial cost savings for producers and consumers, and
deliver significant economic benefits. Inland Rail
is the largest freight rail infrastructure project in Australia and one of the
most significant infrastructure projects in the world. As an ICT
Support Officer, you will be crucial part of the of the Inland Rail program,
providing exceptional IT support across the Inland Rail program and to our
onsite teams. You will play a pivotal role ensuring seamless communication,
data management, and technology solutions across various project sites. This role
is perfect for someone who enjoys working in the field and is passionate about
delivering ICT support. Travel will be 2 to 3 days a month. About You The
successful incumbent will need to have technical proficiency in hardware, software,
and network systems, as well as effective problem-solving skills and
communication skills. Adaptability, customer service and teamwork are also key,
along with self-motivation and the ability to work independently, have good
time management and a willingness to learn are crucial for excelling in this
role.
