North Camurra to North Star ongoing construction works
From 4 October 2023, our contractor Trans4m Rail will continue commissioning and finishing works within the rail corridor between North Camurra and North Star.
Work being done
Low impact activities associated with the works, such as machinery re-fueling, managing environmental controls and traffic control may occur outside of these hours.
Works will involve:
- installing signage, fencing and landscaping
- commissioning and finishing works including corridor clean up works.
What can I expect?
- rolling stock operating on the rail lines
- trucks and other vehicles will enter and exit the construction site via multiple access gates
- construction machinery and equipment operating on site
- delivery of materials and equipment
- changed traffic conditions under traffic control

How we’re managing impacts
Traffic control will be in place and water carts will be on site to wet down areas to assist in managing dust, where required.
Local residents should be aware that on-track machines are active during this time. Please follow all traffic control signage at level crossings.
