Designed to raise STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) awareness and build capability, STEM on Track supports the University of Newcastle to deliver Science and Engineering Challenge events in communities along the Inland Rail alignment between Brisbane and Albury.

The Park Ridge State High School team competed in a range of challenges including railway bridge building, with Inland Rail staff on hand to both lend a hand and showcase STEM careers to the next generation.

The Inland Rail Skills Academy has gone from strength to strength since launching in 2019, with nearly 2000 participants taking part in a variety of programs along the project’s alignment across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Find out more here.
