We are currently preparing the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Narrabri to North Star Phase 2, which will be on public exhibition in late 2021.

We recently received the Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs) from the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. This is an important milestone, as the SEARs requirements define the structure of our EIS and outline our responsibilities prior to and during project delivery. 

SEARs are developed for Critical State Significant Infrastructure and ensure all economic, social and environmental issues are thoroughly examined for the EIS. Once we have an approved EIS, based on the SEARs, we can begin construction on the project.

The SEARs for Narrabri to North Star Phase 2 are available now.
