Planning and approvals are on track
As Victoria’s COVID-19 restrictions ease again, we want to reassure locals along the North East rail line that we’re still here and listening to feedback and ideas for the Inland Rail Tottenham to Albury project.

You can now scan a ‘QR code’ in these notices to open our new Tottenham to Albury consultation timeline, which maps out when new opportunities for community input are coming up over the next six months. Scan the code in the advert image below to download your copy!
We’re planning a two-week exhibition of the Environment Report in late August to September. During this period, we’ll gather your feedback on mitigation measures, research and data we’ve compiled so far about each of the 12 project sites in Stage 1 of the project (Beveridge to Albury), which is detailed this Report.
In Glenrowan and Wangaratta, we’re working with Heritage Victoria to apply for Heritage Permits for the precincts where the project will be delivered. We’ll let you know more as soon as we can via the Status page on our website.
We’re also working on draft reference designs for the seven sites across Mitchell Shire and the Wangaratta Station Precinct. We’ll shortly host a series of drop-in sessions to get your feedback, while offering a range of other ways for you to view the designs, including via our website, Social Pinpoint map and email.
Check our Events page for the latest updates on drop-in sessions in your area.
